Vendor Development Programmes

As per Procurement Policy mandate & to expedite and encourage the SC/ST enterprises to be part of public procurement process, the hub facilitates Vendor Development Programs (VDPs) which are organized by CPSEs/Central Ministries. These programs are being introduced with an aim to enroll potential SC/ST suppliers to be the part of respective supply chains. Facilitation to regular vendor development meets are organized, to strengthen the interaction between CPSEs/Central Ministries and SC/ST suppliers. Post interactions, the SC/ST suppliers are evaluated and adopted under Vendor Development Programs.

  • Shortlisting of unit’s basis on their capacity and needs of CPSEs
  • Evaluation of shortlisted units by CPSE
  • Selected units registered by CPSE under vendor registration
  • Vendor becomes part of value chain
  • National SC/ST Hub has successfully organized 60 SVDP as on 14.05.2018, only for SC/ST entrepreneurs with several CPSEs like Oil India Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, National Handloom Development Corporation Limited, National Textile Corporation Limited, Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited, etc.
